Cricket Apocalypse

OMD we have been bombarded with crickets since it rained.  Mom has to sweep the floor and get the vacuum out twice a day.  And y’all know how I hate the evil vacuum, she pulls out the long sucker wand and goes all around the house sucking up the little b@st@rds; there’s no place for me to hide.  I get behind a chair and the next thing I see is the long sucker coming at me.  This is happening twice a day, in the mornings before she leaves for work and when she returns.  I’m stressed to the max!  Not only do I have to deal with the vacuum but the crickets get in my skirt when I go outside to take care of my business, I have to walk through crickets that are at the back door just waiting for it to open.  I don’t like things crawling and hopping on me and mom sure doesn’t like me dragging them into the house.  Dad has been blowing off the porch in the evenings with the leaf blower but they keep come back.  Saturday was the worst, on one side of the house the crickets were clinging to the bricks and on the walls inside of the garage.  Mom hates going into the garage because when you open or shut the door they fall off the walls and start jumping around.  She makes a mad dash to the jeep and jumps in so she doesn’t get attacked.  This photo was taken 1 hour after dad blew the porch off Saturday.
I’m sorry it’s so disgusting but I wanted you to see what kind of hell I going through.  Mom says we need a freeze and it can’t come soon enough for the both of us.

  4. That must be a mess in your skirt. Last week when it rained I brought in a worm in my skirt into the house. Mom was not pleased with the gift.
You should have your dad blow an area for you to go every time you have to go and do your business.
