I went to my Grandpeep’s for the long weekend. Judd stayed home to make sure no Dingoes
trashed the house while we were out of town.
As usual, I hated the car ride but I had a great time after we got
there. Here I am in Granddad’s shop make
sure it is rat free.
Me returning from the barn after I had made sure there were no rats.
Here we all are hanging out and having a good
time. If you look close you can see Doc,
Gypsy, and Tohbi.
Gypsy is the Border collie. She doesn’t like me and mom is pretty sure it’s
because I’m black. She tries to attack
me but not Tohbi who is white or Doc who is cream. She will get down in her cow dog hunch and
try to creep up on me. I have to keep my
eye on her at all times and it can wear a dog out.
Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.
Geez looks like you had a long and tiring weekend with so much going on. I used to scream madly at a white dog in my puppy obedience class donkey years ago. So I think dogs can be color-racist too eh? BOL

that was a busy weekend you had :)
ReplyDeleteWell, that sounds like a fun holiday weekend! I would've loved to been there hunting rats with you, Sully. It's too bad Gypsy is such a pain in your butt.

ReplyDeleteTwo different kinds needing to keep alert on that outing then sully! Howlidays are fun, but always need another howliday to get over them, I find!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh Sully it was sure good to see you. Holidays are great with families but they are also tiresome especially when a collie has her eye on you all the time. stella rose
ReplyDeleteOur dogs hate the car also. They think it's the express to the v-e-t and/or groomer.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time hanging with the humans

You better rest, you've had a lot going on looking for varmints!

Dui has learned that cowdog hunch to ambush other dogs. He learned it from a kelpie...bwahaahaa! We know how that goes down. Sounds like you had a fantastic weekend...except for not finding any rats.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you were very busy. We can't imagine another dog not liking you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good time with family, maybe you need to bring Gypsy some really good treats

What a fun weekend! How could Gypsy not love you?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to be despite Gypsy
ReplyDeleteCome on Gypsy. It is 2016. There is no place for racist dogs

ReplyDeleteGypsy was made to herd livestock and she know you are an independent Scot with a mind of his own. Gypsy wants you to conform which we know you are not going to do. I don't think it is because you are black.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

Oh Lee raised her Grandmother's Border Collie and showed his talents at the Fair. We got some ribbons back in the day. And would you believe he lived to be twenty. Only sick once when a rat got him in the neck and it abscessed.

ReplyDeleteGood job on keeping the relative's place "Vermin Free". Don't worry about that herding dog....they're just not terriers!!
