Thank You

Mom and I would like to thank everyone for sending Judd prayers and POTP.  This is what he looked like at his worst (kinda cute now we know he's okay)
and this is what he looks like today.
His nose and neck is still a little swollen but he is feeling a lot better and he has been playing and eating.

Judd had a rough Sunday around noon he got stung on the nose and his nose was a little swollen.  Mom thought he looked cute and took this picture of him.
Later, we had been playing in this ground cover.
I was tired of his rowdiness and went and hung out with Dad.  Mom heard him yelping and when she got to him he had two little puncture wounds on the right side of his nose and they were bleeding.  His nose started swelling immediately and drool was coming from his mouth.  Mom called the vet and told him she thought Judd had been bitten by a copperhead.  Mom and Dad took him to the hospital and the dogter gave Judd two shots.  He said as long as it wasn’t a rattlesnake Judd should recover.  Dad had killed a copperhead the weekend before and we haven’t seen any rattlesnakes around the house.  Maybe Judd should attend Kali and Kaci’s snake school out in Arizona, just sayin’.  We know the medicine the dogter gave Judd worked but we know the real healing came from all the prayers and POTP Judd received.  Thank you again.

  1. So glad Judd is doing better. Hope the snakes stay away! We don't have any poisonous ones in our area, in fact there is only 1 type of bad snake in Canada, the rattle one. Take care.

  4. Our school only works against rattlers. It doesn't work against copperheads and we don't have them here.

  23. Oh thank dogness! We were really worried about you Judd!! Poor boy, you really had a ruff 4th of July weekend. Perhaps a lesson or two with Kali and Kaci's trainer isn't a bad idea.
Sully, we're glad to see you've got your smile back too.

  24. What good news to hear! Thank goodness he's going to be OK. Mommy got stung by a wasp and swelled up just like that. He had a dirty stinger.

Tell Judd to stay away from those nasty, slithery things. We don't want that to happen again.

    Hugs,
